Died...And Gone to Heaven!

Tonight Dave and I went with our friends Brent and Laurie to The Cheesecake Factory. Brent went ahead and arrived there at about 5:45 and put our names on the list. They told him it was going to be a 1 1/2 to 2 hour wait. When Dave got home from work we went and picked up Laurie and met Brent at the Cheesecake factory. When we got there it was still going to be about a 1 to 1 1/2 hour wait. So we went and walked around the mall for about an hour and then went back to the restaurant. Our beeper was going off as we walked in the door.

For dinner I had their Chicken Madiera. It is there most famous dish. And boy, was it DELICIOUS! I ate about half and brought the other half home to eat later. We also got a piece of cheesecake to take home. It was a Dutch Apple Caramel Cheesecake. It also was DELICIOUS!!! Dave ate one bite and then let me eat the rest and believe me it was TO DIE FOR!!!

So was the Cheesecake factory worth the 2 hour wait? I would have to say that it was. I have never been there before, but I hope that they bring more of these to Utah. Maybe then we won't have to wait for 2 hours.

I've heard it's amazing! Hopefully next time I pay a visit, I can go there.

We ate it last week too. They put one here in our mall. Love it! We had the Banana Cream Cheesecake, so good!

We ate there when we were in Hawaii-it was so very good! The cheesecake was DELICIOUS! Now off the subject a bit, when I saw the title to your post I automatically assumed it was about Houston passing away since I read about it on Mindy's blog. So I was reading and reading and I kept wondering when you were going to mention it-by the end I finally figured out you were talking about the cheesecake and NOT Houston!!

I am soooo glad that you guys got Brian a gift card for there so we can try it out. I have been to one in Arizona, Vegas, and San Diego. Its about time they got one here. By the way, your new template is much, much better.

The cheesecake factory is my favorite. I absolutely love it.

To answer your question about the header...yes, you can change it w/o changing your entire template. You can either upload a picture for your template (I designed mine in Photoshop, saved it as a jpg and then uploaded it), or you can edit the CSS. Check out this website for details: http://betabloggerfordummies.blogspot.com/2006/11/how-to-customize-your-header.html

Oh yum....love it! Hey, if you are coming to "bow day" tomorrow, can you please bring the book that has the patterns in it for church folder books, that Jamie made for Ashlyn? I want to attempt to be as crafty as you :)

I've heard great things about it too. It sounds like it'd be a great date night (especially since then we would be able to have some good dairy w/out worrying about the certian cross-contamination for Ez). We'll definitely have to check it out next time we're out...if we can pull ourselves away from Tucanos:P

Weird...I left a comment yesterday and it's gone, I must not have saved it? Anyway, one of these days when I'm not on a diet, I'll have to go there. We did eat at the one in Vegas once and it was yummy!

I second your motion about the Cheesecake Factory. I avoid Fashion Place mall because I know that I will not resist the pull of the cheesecakes. I think they put an addictive chemical in the food that makes us crave it. The hot dog man down the street does it too. They must be in cahoots with each other.

AND, how on earth can I steal your new template. I adore it.
