SNOWED IN

"There's one good thing about snow, it makes your lawn look as nice as your neighbors."--Clyde Moore

This morning we woke up to a phone call telling us that church was being cancelled for the day due to the snow. I had no idea it was even snowing until Dave told me to go look out the window. I did and boy was the snow coming down. It was coming horizontally and coming down hard. Like we didn't have enough snow before. Then I read on the internet that Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow yesterday, so now we have 6 more weeks of winter. Thanks a lot Phil, you let me down this year!

In order to get a little bit of religion in today Dave and I watched the funeral of President Hinckley. We were unable to watch it yesterday because we had a baptism to go to, so we set the DVR to record it and thanks to modern technology we were able to watch it today! I love the DVR! After Dave went outside to shovel our driveway so that we could get out later to go to my parents house for dinner. I decided it was a great time to go out and take pictures and put them on my blog. So here are pictures of our snowy day!

Isn't it weird when they cancel church. They canceled ours last week and it just seemed like a weird day. I hope you guys aren't snowed in all week. The kids should have fun playing it.

Wow! That is a lot of snow! How fun for the kids! We finally got a bunch of snow and it is always fun, that is until it turns dirty & yucky!!

I can't believe how much snow that side of the valley got! I live in Holladay and we didn;t get anything! Weird!

Ya, it's totally unfair. I'm in Murray, and we got a whooping 1 inch. It was melted by 10 am. So lame!
