Card Technique for March

This month for my card technique I decided to do a Big Buckle card. Once again I found this technique on Split Coast Stampers. I made this card yesterday and it was a lot of fun.
So this is what you do:
1. Take a piece of cardstock that measures 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 and score down the midde at 4 1/4
2. Cut off about 1" of cardstock from the front
3. Cut a piece of cardstock at 4 by 5 1/4 for the inside of the card.
4. Cut a piece of cardstock at 1 5/8 by 5 1/2 and score at about 4 1/4. This is the buckle. You can then decorate it how you want. Use the corner rounder punch to round the corners on the longer strip.
5. Use your word window punch to punch a hole in the bottom for your buckle to go into.
6. Tuck in smaller end of buckle in under the inside cardstock and slip through word window slot.
7. Use whatever stamps you have to decorate your own buckle card.
This card was so much fun to make, I will probably make more. I will also be showing how to make them at a future Stamp Club.

Very cute card-you've definitely got a knack for making cards! I'm looking forward to learning some fun techniques at card club.

How cute! I'm not nearly patient or talented enough to do all your fun techniques on my own, but I can certainly sit back and admire all your hard work.

Nice! I am terrible at following written directions. I just need somebody to show me how to do it. When is the first card club so I can put it on my calendar?
