Today I attended Landon's Kindergarten Program. It was fun but also a little bittersweet. It seems like just yesterday that Landon started Kindergarten and now he is 2 days away from being through. That year went by so fast and I can't believe that it is over. My mom came over to my house this morning and we drove over to Landon's school. We had good seats and when the Kindergartener's filed in Landon was on our side and on the first row. I have to tell you that Landon did not only sing but he also danced a little while singing. He was quite the character. There was one song that was a dance and it was really cute. I think that Landon did a really good job. At the end of the program they had a little slide show and we will get a copy of that for $1.00. These are some of the songs that they sang:
- Pledge of Allegiance
- The Star Spangled Banner
- Butterfield Canyon (School Song)
- You're a Grand Old Flag
- This Land is Your Land
- Yankee Doodle
- America the Beautiful
- God Bless the USA
- Friendship Song
This next picture was taken after the program. They let each row stand up and then the parents could go up and take pictures of their child. Once again sorry about the quality of the picture. Then after the program I of course had to get a picture of Landon with his teacher MIss Cook! She really is an Awesome teacher. Landon really liked having her as his teacher. Also Landon had to get a picture of himself taken with this statue in the school.

Wow! Landon's school year went late into the summer!
Can I just say that I think it is awesome that they sang so many patriotic songs? That means a lot to me personally. Tell Landon thanks!
They are on year round school here, which is why it goes so late into the summer!
Yay for Landon! It does seem like that boy has grown up quickly. We sure love that little character!
I can't believe he is done with kindergarten! Now it is onto full-time first grade - CRAZY! Sounds like a cute program, maybe he can sings a few songs for us for FHE on Sunday. What a cute kid :)
How fun! That makes sense about the year-round school. It'd explain about the late ending. He's such a little ham in the second pic. What a big boy!
WOW! I can't believe how old we are. I remember going to kindergarden with you... Cute children you have.
